Tri-Village Pennysaver going back to its roots
The Tri-Village Pennysaver has been serving the community for over 64 years, and over the last several years has been known as the Ithaca / Tri-Village Pennysaver – serving both the Ithaca area and the Tri-Village area. Beginning with this edition, our weekly publication will return to its roots and once again serve as the Tri-Village Pennysaver – a shift that is a reflection of our commitment to the Tri-Village and surrounding communities.
Since its inception over 60 years ago, the Tri-Village Pennysaver grew, and has the largest readership and highest distribution in Seneca County. Best of all, the publication is a free community paper supported by advertisers.
The Tri-Village Pennysaver will continue circulation in the Tri-Village region, but will no longer be distributed in Ithaca.
Dave Barry, general manager for Times Shamrock Weekly Group, stated, “Although we will no longer be distributing in Ithaca, we will continue to bring our readers news of interest from the Ithaca market, as well as throughout Seneca County.”
The Tri-Village Pennysaver is committed to serving the community, and welcomes letters, guest editorials, news stories of community interest, and community events. To submit your news, email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for the weekly publication is Tuesday at 4 p.m. You can also call the Tri-Village Pennysaver office, located at 8382 Geneva St. in Interlaken, by dialing (607) 532-4320.
